Join us for a Scrum game run by Kane Mar

We’ve once again set up a Certified Scrum Master course with Kane Mar as the trainer. Although the course is now full we’ve decided to host another early evening Agile meet up while Kane is here.

This time we’ll be asking you to get involved as Kane will be facilitating a Scrum game.  It’s fun, interactive, and nicely demonstrates the power of inspect and adapt. The session will run for 45 minutes to an hour. We’d love to get some willing participants along for a bit of networking followed by a bit of Agile fun. We’ll be putting on drinks and nibbles prior to the start of the game so you’ll have a chance to catch up with other attendees.

Where: Boost, Level 8, 75 Ghuznee Street, Wellington

When: 6pm – 8pm, Wednesday 19th September 2012

What: Drinks, nibbles, Scrum game.

RSVP:  [email protected]

If you’d like to join us please drop us an email to confirm so we can get an idea of numbers.

Scrum and the Boost website, the evolution continues

We’ve just completed Sprint 4 of our boost.co.nz Scrum and our site has evolved in some obvious and not so obvious ways.

Testimonial

We’ve added a client testimonial feature to the sidebar:

Our alliances

The sidebar now displays our ties with organisations such as WorldBlu (Democratic workplaces), Agile Alliance, Drupal Alliance and the Scrum Alliance:

Blog design

Our blog, built in WordPress, has had a tweak to bring it in line with the current website design. Although a future story will deal with a blog redesign along with the full website design, we’ve changed the header now in order to provide more consistency between the website and the blog:

Deployments and code merging

Behind the scenes we’ve made changes to make deployments and code merging easier and faster. The goal is to be able to potentially release software including all but the last few hours work, at any time. Deployment is now handled by Webistrano and we’ve also set up a GIT repository for code management.

Check back here for updates as we continue to release features as they are completed.
