We worked with the National Library to create a service enabling users to search over 30 million records.
DigitalNZ is a metadata repository containing metadata from 30 million records (and every week there's more) with a SOLR search index. On top of the metadata repository is a public-facing API written in Ruby on Rails that allows developers to make their own applications using the records inside DigitalNZ.
We’ve now become the technical and design leads for DigitalNZ products and services.
The National Library Beta site is a bespoke Ruby on Rails development using Digital NZ’s search API. We created a spacious, elegant and slick interface that makes searching simple.
Mobile application development
The shift from browser based websites to mobile applications has created risks and opportunities for all organisations. The right application can cement existing customers and improve engagement with new users.
Talk to us about how a mobile application can make your brand glow and become a crucial part of your customer engagement strategy.

iOS development
A partnership of NZ On Screen and the New Zealand Film Commission came to us with an idea for an app to showcase their video content.
We designed and developed the Reel Choice iOS application in 4 weeks. The app utilises the DNZ API to harvest content from NZ On Screen’s website and present their latest video content.
